Here's the Siouxsie set from the previous posts gig, a lot better quality but still an audience one. I love the really early 'S & T B' stuff and I knew somewhere lay this recording, the line up for this gig were,
Siouxsie Sioux - vocals
Steven Severin - Bass
John McKay - Guitar
Kenny Morris - Drums
John Mckay had only just joined replacing Pete Fenton, it's a great set, I also have their first performance at the 100 Club, Punk Festival 1976 if anyone is interested, it's an okay recording but well worth a listen!!
MAKE UP TO BREAK UP
HELTER SKELTER
MIRAGE
SCRAPEHEAP
PSYCHIC
20th CENTURY BOY
CARCASS
LOVE IN VOID
LORDS PRAYER
CAPTAIN SCARLET

Hi, I think I'll give this a go and I would indeed like to hear the Festival recording. You weren't kidding when you said the Ants's Vortex set was lo-fi! Sometimes the history wins out over everything else. Just the existence of such a recording is a precious thing, so thanks again, and keep this up - it's fantastic and I'm sure I'm not the only very grateful punter.
ReplyDeleteThx for those very kind comments I will post the Festival as soon as I convert !
