THEE MILKSHAKES - Live The Claredon, London, 10.12.83

Bit a change, found this at the bottom of the box, me brother was heavily into the Psychobilly scene and was always going into London to see bands, as you can imagine our house was a nightmare at times with the sounds that would come blaring out of the walls, we must of been the neighbours from hell !! Alot of the bands really grew on me, I always loved the sound of the double bass and I suppose being a 60's baby that type of music was always played by my parents be it The Beatles or Bill Hayley etc. I would go along to see a few of the bands as a couple of me mates turned their spikes into high quiffs un all, the ones I really enjoyed were Thee Milkshakes and The Sting Rays, I was going to post a Stingrays gig which was brilliant but I found they've released it, took me bloody ages to convert !! Instead here's The Milkshakes, an audience recording which changes a little in quality on the tape turn but still great I hope you enjoy it as much as me. They have released loads of goodies so if you want more try here, I have also put a classic piece of The Tube history on Garage Bands which is well worth a re visit, have fun and enjoy !!
